Formed in the suburbs of Chicago in 1998, Spitalfield plays punky alternative rock with some pop sensibilities. Former Braid and Hey Mercedes member Bob Nanna leads this new project. The City on Film's debut, 'I'd Rather Be a Wine Drunk,' was purportedly recorded in a hotel room in a single afternoon.
