Spiritual Virtues Summer Camp August 3, 2010

The Bahá’í Community of Beaverton and New Thought Center for Spiritual Living (NTCSL) are joyful co-sponsors of a Spiritual Virtues Summer Camp for children August 2 - 5, 2010.

Participants will be welcomed into a warm and accepting space where they will be gently guided to discover the gifts of virtues that live within them. Virtues are qualities of the heart and the content of our character. We will foster safe and supportive environments, both indoors and outdoors, to practice the virtues and explore their meaning. Children will have the opportunity to make new friends and experience unity between spiritual communities.
All children are welcome!

CAMP REGISTRATION INCLUDES:
Teachers and youth mentors trained in the spiritual education of children.

Playful age-appropriate activities focused on the virtue of the day that incorporate:
o Prayer
o Music
o Dance
o Drama
o Stories
o Art
o Science

The camp also includes:
o Service Projects
o Special guests
o Healthy snack daily
o Virtues Camp T-shirt
