Spirited Away (Hayao Miyazaki, 2001) will be screened on Thursday 8th October 2009 in the Studio Theatre. The film is a PG certificate.
From the celebrated Studio Ghibli and director Hayao Miyazaki, this charming anime film tells the story of ten year old Chihiro, who finds herself in a mysterious town populated by Japanese Gods and spirits. Winner of the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature, this is perhaps the definitive anime - and, for those new to it, the perfect introduction to this remarkable genre.
