Spires that in the Sunset Rise is a four-woman free folk band whose musical palette includes the cello, bul bul tarang, various drums and bells, ecstatic yelps and cackles, and all manner of plectra.. Their eclectic, outsider folk has drawn comparisons to Comus, Current 93 and The Raincoats.
