Guest Speaker: Sir Mark Moody-Stuart KCMG

The friends of tve are delighted to welcome Sir Mark Moody-Stuart as our guest speaker. Sir Mark was Chairman of the Royal Dutch Shell Group from 1998 to 2001 and of Anglo American plc from 2002 to 2009. He is Chairman of Hermes Equity Ownership Services, the Global Business Coalition for HIV/AIDS and the Innovative Vector Control Consortium and a Director of the International Institute for Sustainable Development, HSBC, Accenture, and Saudi Aramco. He serves on the China Council for International Cooperation on Environment and Development and chaired task forces on renewable energy for the G8 and for business for the 2002 World Summit on Sustainable Development. Sir Mark is also a Board Member of the Global Reporting Initiative 2002-7, a Member of the United Nations Global Compact Board and Chairman of the Global Compact Foundation.

Proceeds from the luncheon will go to tve, a multi-award winning environmental charity, which has been working for over 25 years in global partnerships to make and distribute films that inspire change. tve’s productions reach 302 million homes in 172 countries and millions more viewers through the internet and through its network of 50 Partner organisations, who are based mainly in the developing world. During the lunch there will be a short presentation on tve’s international activities, as well as a special silent auction.
