Drury Lane Oakbrook, 100 Drury Lane, features a special benefit at the musical comedy SUGAR on Wednesday, June 9. The evening’s festivities begin at 7:00 p.m. and include:
• Dessert demonstration and tasting with Hyatt Regency Chicago’s Executive Pastry Chef Alain Roby, nationally acclaimed author of Alain Roby’s American Classics: Casual and Elegant Desserts. Guests will learn how to prepare Orange Sponge Custard and try a sample of the sumptuous dessert.
• A complimentary SUGAR-inspired cocktail for each attendee
• A book signing with Chef Roby
• 8:00 p.m. performance of the exhilarating musical SUGAR (one ticket per guest)
A portion of all ticket sales will benefit the Saving Tiny Hearts Society, the only organization in the country that was formed for the sole purpose of raising funds for congenital heart defect research. Tickets are $40 and available by calling the box office at (630) 530-0111 and referencing code SUGARLICIOUS. An early pre-show dinner at 5:45 p.m. is also available for purchase at the box office the evening of June 9 for an additional $18 (not including tax and gratuity.)
