Ambassador Edward (Ed) Rowell spent 38 years in the U.S. Foreign Service. He was Ambassador to Bolivia, Luxembourg and Portugal, and Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Consular Affairs. He also had postings in Argentina, Brazil and Honduras. He is on the boards of directors of the Sssociation for Diplomatic Studies and Training, the American Academy of Diplomacy (Chair, Audit Committee) and Diplomatic and Consular Officers, retired (DACOR – Vice President).
