Beginning in late January and February, an ancient 600 mile journey takes place across the U.S. – the Sandhill Cranes fly into the Platte River Valley in Nebraska where they will rest and feed until they move out to their northern nesting grounds in March. Fossil evidence reveals that the Sandhill Crane has been part of Nebraska 's fauna for at least 10 million years. Come hear the story of this ancient and incredible journey.
