Spartyka Boots & UTES 5K June 10, 2012

“Get Your Boots On”* to honor the military at the First Spartyka Boots & UTES 5K Run/Walk on Sunday, June 10 at the Virginia Beach Sportsplex. The Spartyka Boots & UTES 5K welcomes runners and walkers of all ages to show support for the troops and veterans who have served our country. Registration/Check In begins at 0730 and the Race begins at 0900. Pre-Registration is encouraged at RaceIt.com; $30 in advance and $35 on June 9 & 10. Awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in four categories. More information at www.Spartyka.com. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Boot Campaign, a national nonprofit organization providing a tangible way for Americans to show appreciation for troops, raising awareness of the challenges they face upon return and donating funds to charities supporting their transition home.
