Ali Love is popping down to his local - The Macbeth on Hoxton Street and playing live for the launch of Sparky Malarky, a new night at the venue, where he'll be playing tracks from his new album, due late summer. On the same night, Charlie Stanley - formerly of Ordinary Boys fame - is appearing in his new and much improved band Charlie and the Ketamen. This will he their first London gig, and it's sure to attract some label interest, as their Dinosaur Jr.-meets-Pavement-via-The Strokes racket is too good to go unheard for much longer!
There'll also be live DJs playing psych, soul and rock 'n' roll until 1am, and the first 100 in get a free limited edition CD!!!
Its only £4 entry - go on, miss the footie and give this a try, or come along afterwards - we're partying till late!
