Improve your mastery of the second most spoken language in the world!
If it weren’t for verbs, many say, Spanish would be a cinch, since we already use the same Latin-based words when we speak English. So, if you speak halting Spanish, using infinitives and the present tense, this is the course for you!
We will begin with the assumption that your vocabulary includes many words that are alike in the two languages. We will review the present tense and its uses, but will spend the bulk of the time on the two past tenses, their forms, and their uses. The vocabulary will center on travel, work, and leisure. We will also learn idiomatic expressions, prepositions, and pronouns (and a cuss word or two?).

Sessions: Eight, 120-minute meetings
When: Thursdays, January 22 & 29; February 5, 19 & 26; March 5, 12 & 26
Time: 6:00–8:00pm
Note: In response to participant demand, this course may continue through Spring.
