SPANGLISH FLY brings the boogaloo back to Barbes! New York’s native latin soul band, last seen on tour throughout the northeast, returns to the Brooklyn bastion of world grooves on October 29th. Their five brassy horns, swinging bass and piano, and sizzling 3-piece percussion section serve up boogaloo classics alongside originals that update Latin soul for the next generation. Plus: their divine lead singer offers up free boogaloo dance lessons at every performance.
