Mitch Resnick, Interim Head, Program in Media Arts and Sciences, Associate Professor of Media Arts and Sciences, MIT
Professor Resnick discusses his conception of today's "Creative Society" in which individual, community and corporate success will be based not on how much we know, but on our ability to think and act creatively. In this talk, he will present new technologies and educational initiatives developed by his group at the MIT Media Lab, specifically to help children learn to design, invent, and express themselves to better prepare for life in the Creative Society.
