Soweto Gospel Choir January 17, 2010

When it comes to vocal talent, South Africa has produced some of the most evocative sounds on earth, and the Grammy Award-winning Soweto Gospel Choir is a magnificent representation of this tradition. With glorious voices, rich harmonies and dance-in-your-seat rhythms, the dynamic young singers offer an inspirational program of traditional and contemporary gospel music in sold-out venues around the world.

Drawing on the best talent from the churches and communities in and around Soweto, the choir has become an overnight, award-winning sensation. This performance is a tribute to Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
