NEWPORT, RI, December 12, 2008 –A 30-foot Colorado Blue Spruce will soon be lighting up downtown Newport! Although the Sovereign Bank Family Skating Center, located at the Newport Yachting Center on America’s Cup Avenue in Newport is official opening the outdoor rink on Friday, December 12th at 5:45 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. with the 28th Annual Tree Lighting and kick-off to the holiday season.
