Southern Lights Spectacular Sights on Holiday Nights November 29, 2008

Guests to Southern Lights begin their evening by taking a three-mile driving tour through the grounds. Brightly lit arches and snowflakes guide visitors along the route between animated displays of racing at Keeneland, show jumping, a steeplechase and on towards the towers and spires of Churchill Downs. Lifelike horses on all sides depict the majesty and beauty of these animals - the pride of the Bluegrass. Visitors then leave their cars in the appointed parking lot and begin the Southern Lights Indoor Section. The lobby, decorated in holiday splendor, is the perfect backdrop for a wide range of wonderful performers, who offer their musical talents and skills to entertain visitors to Southern Lights in a relaxed atmosphere. The indoor section will be closed Thanksgiving Day and Dec. 24-31; the driving tour will be open through Dec. 31.
