Southern Culture on the Skids has been releasing Southern-fried, rockabilly, boogie woogie since 1985. The group celebrates the beauty of waffle house waitresses & demolition derbies through absurdist anthems of moonshine-laced hillbillydom. The Paybacks are a throwback to a time when rock 'n' roll was raucous and raw, not infused with hip-hop beats or country-style whining.
