Southern Arizona Women's Chorus presents "A Classical Mix" with Tucson Arizona Boys Chorus April 19, 2009

Mature womens’ voices blend with pure tones of a boy’s chorus for this primer of classical music. A commissioned orchestration of a Brant Adams’ composition, antiphonal music, selections by Monteverdi, the "Dixit Dominus" by Galuppi, and a musically surprising contemporary Magnificat by Stroope are among the highlights of this amazing concert experience. Different pieces of music will feature different instrument accompaniments including chamber orchestra, harpsichord, recorder and fourhanded piano.
A must-hear event for Tucson lovers of classical music.
