Southern Arizona Symphony Orchestra February 15, 2009

Southern Arizona Symphony Orchestra presents their 2008-2009 Season with Linus Lerner, Music Director. A native of Brazil, Mr. Lerner has conducted orchestras, choirs and instrumental groups at home, in the United States, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic and Spain. Featured artists are Yvonne Creanga, Viola; Brad Benoit, Tenor; Michael Kiefer, Trumpet; Miroslava Panayotova, Piano; Angeline Ng, Piano; Christine Harper, Flute; and Michael Kiefer, Trumpet.

The performance will feature Martin Majkut as a guest conductor. Martin has performed with the UA Philharmonic, the Arizona Symphony Orchestra, all the major orchestras in Slovakia - and at last - the Southern Arizona Symphony Orchestra.

In the SASO tradition, the program will be an exiting blend of classical favorites and some delightful surprises.
