Hard on the heels of the perennially popular Oxford Geek Night comes this slightly more urbanised offshoot: South London Geek Night.
SLGN offers a chance for web developers, designers, technologists and the like in the local area to get together, share their knowledge and talk about new ideas, issues, techniques and - well - whatever you fancy, really - it's your event!
Each Geek Night consists of two keynote talks of 15 minutes each. You can also expect frenetic bursts of socialising and networking, interspersed with two bunches of 5-minute-long microslots. And beer. It's in a pub, after all.
For more information, including details of speakers and the opportunity to volunteer to give a microslot talk yourself, see http://southlondon.geeknights.net
