Korea has one of the world's most advanced I.T. infrastructures and progressive digital content industries. In the past five years, the rise in extremely successful internet business ventures has been typified by aggressive competition and innovation with an increasingly sophisticated end-user customer base. Korea is rapidly becoming the hotbed for advanced digital content which has been exported to markets throughout the Asia Pacific region, as well as to the US and Europe.
This is the trend, but will it continue? And if so, in what form? As Korea and the local market faces stiffer international competition from other up and coming regions, what challenges will it face? And what about the "other" Korea? How does the political situation in the region impact local development and international perception of opportunities there? As one of the most highly developed markets for broadband and digital/mobile content, has economic development kept pace and what about the local talent pool, other infrastructure resources necessary to encourage international investment?
Please come and join the SDForum International Program on Monday, January 29th at 6:30pm, as we present a lively panel discussion of experts who will share with us a broad and balanced view of the digital and mobile development opportunities and challenges facing Korea.
