Meet some kindred sci-fi readers & writers in the South Bay Area. This is an informal setting, no pre-reading or secret handshakes - just some good discussion about sci-fi concepts, trends, microbrew, and whatever seems interesting at the moment.
Are you working on a story? Great, you can bounce your ideas off some sharp minds and finally complete that dusty manuscript...

I'll try to bring 1 or 2 concepts to discuss. At the moment, I'm interested in theories about inter-galactic travel & string theory. But also some ideas about how information access will change culture... hmmm. Maybe we should take turns throwing out subjects and see what happens?

That's a good idea. I'm going to see if I can think of any creative people/writers who might be able (and interested enough) to contribute.

This is great; I'll update my story for this date. My goal is to be published at least once this year in a magazine, we'll see how that goes, heh.
