South Austin Jug Band May 22, 2008

The South Austin Jug Band includes James Hyland, Warren Hood, Willie Pipken, Matt Slusher and Will Dupuy playing upright bass, fiddle, mandolin and two acoustic guitars -- that's right no drummer. This is a roots-rock, bluegrass, swing band. The Bluegrass Revolution is a hard driving string band based out of Oakland, California. The band blend hints of bluegrass, alt-country, gypsy jazz, blues and progressive acoustic music with the traditional sounds of the acoustic guitar, fiddle, mandolin and upright bass.
