Soundcheck presents Jesse Boykins III, Chris-Faust, and Cocoa Sarai April 21, 2010

Although barely into his twenties, Jesse Boykins III has been writing music for more than half of his life. A soulful sound, reminiscent of early r&b acts, was harnessed during his experience in the Grammy Jazz Ensemble and gives him an edge on modern variations. Chris-Faust and Cocoa Sarai also bring their respective things to the table, as a collective of Soundcheck representatives blasting a fusion of modern and classic that one might call "soul-pop."
