In Pierre Corneille's 17th century tale, a father seeks the dark arts of a magician in a cave to learn about the travails of his estranged son, when he is thrust into a fantastical journey challenging his assumptions of life, love and reality. Tony Kushner, Pulitzer and Tony winning playwright of Angels In America, and one the greatest theatrical visionaries of our time, infuses this 17th century drama with rich language, imagery and contemporary allusions.
