The Sketchbook Project is coming to Soulard Art Market
The folks at Art-House Co-op agreed to exhibit the Sketchbook Project at Soulard ART Market on March 11, 2008 from 6 to 10pm. The Sketchbook Project is like a concert tour, but with sketchbooks. Art-House sends you a sketchbook, you make the art. Then Art House is taking all the sketchbooks on a 6 city tour to galleries and museums across the U.S. The goal of the exhibition is to encourage anyone to create artwork and build a collective of sketchbooks made by artists from all over the world. The sketchbooks will be plastered across our wall and on tables , free for people to flip through. Art House in Atlanta Georgia is bringing artists together and giving everyone a chance to show in museums and galleries around the country. It's all about community.

The Soulard Art Market is committed to supporting and encouraging local St. Louis artists. Our goal is to provide professional opportunities for established and emerging artists. With this collaborative approach, we are offering exhibit space for $150 per weekend at the Soulard Art Market Annex located right next to the Soulard Art Market. Approximately 650 square feet of newly renovated exhibit space makes an ideal spot for a solo exhibit or a collaborative project.
