From the WPA lunch programs and canning classes at the Northern Ohio School, to the Memphis in May barbecue contest, local communities connect over sharing meals. Experience the savory specialties from the Delta as local cooks share their secrets and give you tips on recreating these delicacies in your own kitchen. Then, sample their delicious work! Please feel free to bring any fresh fruits or vegetables you would like to try to can.
