A free Soul Food Dinner with inspirational speakers, entertainment and a silent auction to raise money to benefit Haitian relief will be held starting at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, in the Yellowjacket Union Great Room at the University of Wisconsin-Superior.
Dinner will be served from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Entertainment will begin at 6 and continue until 9 p.m. Speakers include Sandra Wright and Dr. Olawole Famule. The theme of this year’s event is “Building on Common Ground: Bridging Barriers in African/African-American Cultures.” The annual event is sponsored by the Black Student Union at UW-Superior.
