Sophistafunk is a modern fusion band from Syracuse, New York that blends intense spiritual poetry, old-school hip-hop and funky rhythms to create a unique musical experience. Keyboard virtuoso Adam Gold is a one-man music machine. At every show, Adam plays the Fender Rhodes piano, Clavinet and Moog Synthesizer while also singing and beatboxing. He is also very well known around Syracuse as a local funk DJ (WAER 88.3) and live music venue owner (Funk 'n Waffles).
