Soon Ja Choo: Korean Brush Painting February 17, 2007

'Soon Ja Choo: Korean Brush Painting' will feature work from Soon Ja Choo and her students from the Korean Fine Art Club. In this exhibition, Korean Philosophy of art and creative expression is displayed on hanging-rolls and folding screens, with Korean traditional brush paintings of flowers, trees and landscapes. With emphasis on techniques, modes of expression and content, the art-work is created using brush, ink stone and natural color made from mineral or vegetables on rice paper.
