Sonora Gran Fondo 2013 April 28, 2013

Sonora Regional Medical Center will sponsor the 2nd annual Sonora Gran Fondo (bike ride) as a follow up to last year's event in conjunction with the Amgen Tour of California ride.

The Gran Fondo is an 87 mile ride from Sonora through Jamestown, past Lake Don Pedro, through Coulterville and climb up to Lake McClure Bagby Recreation area and back to Sonora.

For riders seeking a less strenuous ride, the 60 mile Medio Fondo covers the same route skipping the ride to Bagby and back and the 28 mile Piccolo Fondo goes only to the junction of CA Highway 120 and Jacksonville Rd. before returning to Sonora

For riders, sign up begins at 8 AM at Sonora High School and the ride begins promptly at 9 at the Red Church on Washington Street.

Entry fee: $65 for the Gran Fondo, $50 for the Medio Fondo ad $25 for the Piccolo Fondo.
