Sat, Apr. 20, 7-8:30pm--Burlingame Hall 252 W. Spain St., Sonoma; Sun, Apr. 21, 2-4pm--Sonoma Valley High School
Sonoma Hometown Band presents our Annual Spring Concert, "To New Beginnings," a collection of Vernal-themed music, including "Simple Gifts," "Northwest Rising," "El Relicario," and "Selections from the Phantom of the Opera," among others.
This concert is special as it will be our last with conductor, Justin Enright, who is moving to the South Bay to further advance his career as a music educator. Mr. Enright has conducted the band for the last three years following the retirement of Richard Schneider, Founder and Director Emeritus.
Our free Saturday evening concert will be held at Burlingame Hall, just east of General Vallejo's home or two blocks west of Sonoma Plaza. Local wine may be purchased by the glass for your enjoyment during the concert. No tickets or reservations required.
Our Sunday afternoon free concert will be held at the Sonoma Valley High School Little Theatre and will also feature the SVHS Band. One lucky raffle winner will have the opportunity to conduct "The Pathfinder of Panama," a classic John Phillips Sousa march. The SVHS Little Theatre is located 4 blocks south of Sonoma Plaza at the northeast corner of the High School Campus. Free parking is available at the end of the SVHS north driveway off of Broadway. No tickets or reservations are required.
