Nostalgic for the endless energy and free spirited days of our youth? Come out and Dance with Sonic Strut and you will be transported to the 70’s and 80’s. The Sonic Strut Band is a highly energetic and deeply funky eight piece dance band with four dynamic lead vocalists that also come together in sweet harmony on the music we all grew up on - R&B, Soul, Funk, Rock & Motown. This is a party night at the Mill Valley Masonic. Sonic Strut features musicians that have worked with Soul & R&B legends such as Sly and the Family Stone, Tina Turner's Ikettes, Taj Mahal, John Lee Hooker, Charles Brown, Mary Wells, Otis Clay, Otis Rush, Bobby McFerrin, Joe Louis Walker, Little Anthony, The Coasters, The Drifters, The Supremes, Boz Scaggs, Tower of Power, Ozomatli, Lydia Pense & Cold Blood, Sylvester, Two Tons of Fun and many more! Nicolas Bearde, Rita Lackey, Rich Armstrong, Kelvin Dixon, Tony Stead, Todd Swenson, Ray Fernandez and Willie Riser are The Sonic Strut Band.
