Sonic Nomad Project - The Presentation April 30, 2009

This is a media presentation showcasing the work of the Sonic Nomad Project. For 6 months Patrick Judson (aka Dj Astro) visited 11 countries circumnavigating the globe and recorded hundreds of environmentally and culturally interesting sounds to creatively engage the travel process by using these samples to craft digitally groovy music on his travel laptop.

He is distributing this music and his travel stories along with all the
other media he's acquired like video, photos, and interviews to raise
awareness and financial support for a few causes he became connected to in the communities he visited.

Following a short music/media presentation the floor is open for
discussion and then Astro will be prepared to the hit the decks and Dj his tunes and others for as long as people stick around (house, breaks, and global grooves). It's all going to be casual so grab a drink, come and go, and enjoy some sonic transportation for a better planet!

Event is FREE but Donations are encouraged to support the NGO's and causes that will be discussed. The Sonic Nomad Project EP will also be available to purchase to support the causes.
