Sonic Cathedral Presents The New Testament January 14, 2008

Sonic Cathedral opens for worship at The Social on Monday January 14 for the second of its two special New Testament nights showcasing new bands. Today’s bill features THE LIONHEART BROTHERS, a five-piece hailing from Trondheim in Norway, who evoke a shoegazing Beach Boys who spent their youth in freezing fjords rather than the Pacific Ocean. They are celebrating the launch of their new album ‘Dizzy Kiss’, which is out today. In support, making their London debut, are dark and droney Leeds-based duo THE INSECT GUIDE, whose new EP of remixes by tonight’s special guest DJ, Spacemen 3 and Spectrum legend SONIC BOOM, is also out today.
