Songwriter Session: Thom Schuyler, Nashville Cats: Jerry Kennedy February 16, 2008

This songwriter session will present Thom Schuyler, writer of '16th Avenue,' 'A Long Line of Love,' 'Life Gets Away' and songs recorded by Levon Helm, the Judds, Barbara Mandrell and others.

Jerry Kennedy plays multiple roles as a musician, producer and record executive in Nashville's music industry. An accomplished guitarist his distinctive work graces hit recordings such as 'Harper Valley P.T.A.,' 'Oh, Pretty Woman' and others. Kennedy will discuss his career during a wide-ranging interview illustrated with sound recordings, vintage photos and rare film footage.
