Songs for Presidents January 17, 2009

Washington City Paper and Bands for Lands presents 'Songs for Presidents,' a benefit event celebrating the Presidential inauguration with performances from the critically acclaimed compilation 'Of Great and Mortal Men: 43 Songs for 43 U.S. Presidencies.' The evening features performances from Nellie McKay, These United States, Jukebox the Ghost, Laura Burhenn, Tim Fite, Joe Pug, Denison Witmer, Silver Darling, Tom Carter (Charalambides), Hiss Golden Messenger, Reid Maclean, J. Matthew Gerken, Jefferson Pitcher, Christian Kiefer and many more yet to be announced.
