Sommet/mandingue/summit Film Screening October 29, 2009

Sommet/Mandingue/Summit West African Dance & Drum Festival (October 29-November 1) is the four-day festival of West African culture featuring workshops and performances led by internationally renowned Master dancers and drummers, as well as a photo exhibition, film screenings and an African marketplace.

To provide a visual representation of traditional Mandinka culture, two classic African films have been selected. Plus come and meet some of the visiting Masters in town for the festival!
