Chestnut Hill College will host training for The Soldiers Project Pennsylvania on “Military Sexual Trauma” on Thursday, November 15 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Redmond Room, St. Joseph Hall.
Allison M. Stanco, M.S., LPC, readjustment counselor and military sexual trauma counselor at the Montgomery County Vet Center, will present. The presentation will define and describe military sexual trauma (MST) as well as explain some of the difficulties both female and male survivors of MST may have, even years later. Two continuing education credits (CEU) will be offered for social workers, professional counselors and marriage and family therapists who attend.
There is a $25.00 charge for those attending who are not members of The Soldiers Project PA, with or without CEUs. Registration is required and payment can be made at the door. Please email Sister Nancy DeCesare, Ph.D. at decesaren@chc.edu to register.
