Looking for an exciting, far-flung, but low-cost adventure? On April 18, between 11 am and 3 pm, pick up your passport at the Sun on the Block M on the U-M’s famous Diag, and then tour the Solar System, learning about each planet or object as your passport is stamped. A simplified, scale model of the Solar System will be laid out from the Diag to the Rackham Building, including large planetary markers and much smaller objects to relative scale. Student groups will staff each station along the way, providing information, trading cards, and activities. The recently demoted planet, Pluto, and its neighbors in the Kuiper Belt will also be included!
