Tom Price, the Environmental Manager of Burning Man 2007 and Executive Director of Black Rock Solar will talk about how we can save our planet by using solar energy. He will talk about ways to install solar panels at low cost and the incentives available to help us.
Black Rock Solar is a non-profit that takes on climate change by building low or no cost solar power in schools, hospitals, and other public buildings in places that would otherwise never be able to afford it [and they keep all the money they save, to support their communities how they best see fit]. In recognition of the organization's work to bring low and no cost solar power to rural schools and hospitals across Nevada, Tom Price was honored as one of People Magazine's "Environmental Heroes" for 2008.
