Solar Energy Systems Certificate: Solar Photovoltaics and Applications September 1, 2012

This 10-hour course will focus on solar photovoltaics (PV) and its applications. Principles of semiconductor solar cells, solar PV system components, system design, PV system sizing and performance are introduced. Solar PV mechanical design, battery system, and PV electrical integration will be covered. Solar PV applications in building and other mobile equipment will also be introduced.
