Solar Energy Applications in Building (Online) November 13, 2012

This 10-hour course will focus on the application of solar energy in buildings. Principles of solar energy collection, conversion, storage and distribution are highlighted. Design of solar collectors, solar water heating and cooling applications, as well as their components and systems will be covered. Building passive solar design strategies and concepts of sustainable architecture will also be introduced.
