Details:

Funk, blues, and roots globetrotter, Sol, tours around the world with Music Maker Relief Foundation, as well as touring with his own groups. Music Maker features American R&B, roots, and blues pioneers. As soon as Sol returns home to the DC area, he will be performing at Bangkok Blues on Wednesday May 20th. Sol is know for his unique blend of funk, rock, blues, reggae, and roots stylings. Bangkok Blues features some of the best in regional music talent, along with delicious Thai food, and a relaxed atmosphere just outside of Washington DC.

Joining Sol will be musical heavyweights Barry Hart (drummer with Swing Speak, Danny Gatton, Billy Hancock), Mike Tony Echols (bassist for Mary Ann Redmond, Deanna Bogart, Bobby Thompson) and special guest DC blues diva Stacy Brooks. This celebration will be happening from 7:30 pm until 11pm.
