Funk Roots globetrotter Sol performs at Okras New Orleans style bar in Manassas VA on Friday April 24. Sol is a full-time musician who performs funk, blues, reggae, rock and more while focusing on the roots of each style. Sol is recently back from a tour in Europe with rhythm and blues pioneers Chicago Bob (worked w/ Muddy Waters & more), Albert White, Little Pink Anderson (Pink Sr inspired Pink Floyd), Dr Burt, and Adolphus Bell.

Stop by Friday night for a tasty mix of funk, deep blues, roots reggae, and danceable rock music to go with the wonderful New Orleans cuisine and atmosphere.

Okras is becoming a hot spot in Northern Virginia for those who want quality live music and enjoy the more relaxed atmosphere just outside the Washington DC area.
