Sol brings Funk, roots Reggae, Rock, and deep Blues to Blacksburg VA March 9, 2007

Sol Creech Band is a collaboration of musicians of the southeast and mid-atlantic regions of the US. On Saturday, February 10th, they bring their unique mix of reggae, funk, roots rock, and blues to Champs, a club located in the heart of downtown Blacksburg, close to Virginia Tech.

The band members have collectively covered much of the surface of the earth on tour, lighting up venues across North America, Europe, Australia and the Caribbean.
Sol has shared the stage with blues heavyweights such as Taj Mahal, BB King, Cootie Starks, Cool John Ferguson, John Dee Holeman, Kenny Wayne Shepard, Derek Trucks, Robert Randolph and others.

Opening the evening will be Blacksburg’s up and coming band, Curious Strange.

Paying homage to the greats, Sol Creech Band seeks to bring Roots Music to a new generation of listeners.
