Sol has toured around the world with funk, soul, roots, and blues, legends, and performs a unique mix of original funk, blues, and rock songs, as well as a few tasty covers. His CD Freedom includes musicians that have worked with Corey Harris, Mike Zito, Ana Popovic, Jah Works, Hobex, Squirrel Nut Zippers, and more.

Sol is bringing a cast of highly talented local musicians to this DC metro area venue. Sol works with the incredibly solid drummer Scott Rabino (of Tommy Castro, Idle Americans, Billy Woodward) and deep groove bassist Andreas Holmstrom (whow has worked with members of Mighty Mighty Bosstones). Also some special guests will likely stop by as well!

L.A. Bar is a Arlington neighborhood venue that prides itself on its relaxed atmosphere, and has dedicated itself to bringing in high quality DC area bands. L.A. Bar’s special Friday Night Music Series has featured acts such as Linwood Taylor, Mateo Monk and the DC Reggae Allstars, Moonshine Society (featuring members of the Nighthawks), William Walter & Co., and more. The music kicks off at 9:00 pm. There is always FREE ADMISSION.
