Amy Levine is a PhD candidate in the department of Cultural Studies and Comparative Literature at the University of Minnesota. This talk is based on research for her forthcoming dissertation, "Phantasmatic Cinema: Delinkage and Disarticulation in Michelangelo Antonioni, BélaTarr, Jean-Luc Godard and Alexander Sokurov."
