Southern Exposure's Alternative Exposure aims to support vibrant artistic activity on the ground level. Artists often form communities, work together, and show and create frameworks of support for each other. These activities generate a current of creative energy that has a critical impact in the wider art community. Alternative Exposure was created to provide direct support to these below-the radar types of activities.
Alternative Exposure, is in its second year and is offering up to $3,000 grants to individuals and unincorporated groups in San Francisco and Alameda Counties working in the visual arts.
