With a reputation that is skyrocketing around the globe, Aspen Santa Fe Ballet is renowned for mixing “technical prowess and confident verve for a compelling display of contemporary ballet” (The Dallas Morning News). The company will perform a sophisticated repertory featuring some of the world’s foremost choreographers. Sweet Fields, set to 18th-century American hymns and choreographed by Twyla Tharp; Red Sweet, choreographed by Jorma Elo to the music of Vivaldi and Biber; and Noir Blanc, conceived and directed by Moses Pendleton, co-founder of Pilobolus Dance Theatre and founder of MOMIX. The Boston Herald predicts, “If there’s a classically trained company of the future, it’s Aspen Santa Fe Ballet.”
